Unsuccessful Craft

Tracy and I decided to make candles just for fun. I'm not really sure what happened to them. Both containers were full of wax before they cooled, but somehow by the time they were cooled they were both giant craters! Oh well at least it was fun. And they still smell nice =)

I'm amazed you even tried to make candles--way to go! I'm glad Tracy's surgery went well and I hope she continues to get more used to all the sounds. That would be really different to have so many different sounds all-of-a-sudden.

By the way, when we cut Andrew's hair we put him in his little eating high chair thing on the ground and gave him a big plastic cooking spoon to play with. At first he was scared of the clippers, but then he just played with the spoon and didn't necessarily hold still, but it was good enough for the cut.

If you're ever using a candle warmer and the wax starts making a little dome... DO NOT touch the dome! I repeat: DO NOT touch it! My roommate did that once, and it exploded - all over the counter, the wall, the appliances. It was amazing. I too am impressed you made candles, by the way.
