So tonight I was helping Russton to stand on his own. He has been standing without holding onto something more and more, so I was just hoping to see him stand for longer than he previously had. Then all of the sudden, he took a step! He was able to balance him self for a couple seconds, then he dropped. I thought to myself, "This is something your daddy needs to see!" Jesse was at work. So I set up the video camera in hopes of catching another brave step...
and this is what I got!
I was so surprised!! Obviously you can tell by my tone of voice. I was expecting maybe one step. I can't believe I was lucky enough to record his very first steps!! Now everyone can enjoy it too!
He was so brave. It is amazing to me how quickly children learn things, and grow and change. I'm so excited to have a toddler!

That is so awesome!!!I can't believe how big your little guy is getting! I loved him eating his birthday cake. We miss you guys!
I love how excited you are!
Yay! That's so fun.
Yay...we love Russton! And to answer your question about the pictures and how you put them in the collage...google picasa and you can download it onto your computer for free and it's wonderful! We love it! Let me know if you have questions about it, I'll come over and help if you need me to. :-)
Congrats on Russton's first steps. They are so exciting even though it means your life is about to get really crazy. It's amazing how much more they get into when they start walking.
I found your blog through Kera's. Hope that's okay. You, Lisa, and I should get together sometime when she is in town and let our little boys play together. I guess my little girls might want to play to. At least my oldest.

Cute first steps. That birthday post with the cake eating is hilarious! I was laughing so hard at the last video of him eating the cake at his grandma's. Cute! I like the video of him eating on his own too. Andrew wants to feed himself, and I need to let him. I just give him a spoon and an empty bowl every time I have to feed him something. He ends up dumping the bowl on the floor if I let him try to feed himself (of course he eats finger foods alone). Anyway, I just need to let go and plan on doing a lot more clean-up so he can learn to use his spoon better!
